On May 17, 2016, Xiaoru Wang (president assistant) hosted a negotiation meeting to settle down SWJTU-OSU undergraduate program at X4531. Paul Tikalsky (President of Engineering, Architecture and Technology, OSU), Jiuwen Jiang (director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges), Weiping Xu (deputy director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges), Guoxiang Liu (vice president of Graduate School, president of Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering, SWJTU)，Meikun Fan (president assistant), Peng Lin (associate professor of Fire Protection Engineering) and Jing Li (lecturer of School of Foreign Languages, SWJTU) attended this meeting.

Fan introduced faculty of Fire Protection Engineering and careers of graduation students, emphasized our major advantages and expressed best wishes for this cooperation. After discussing and checking the worksheet of application materials of Fire Protection Engineering Undergraduate Program, representatives of two universities signed a cooperation contract and took pictures.
