In 2015, the Journal of Remote Sensing made great progress and is funded by the Top 50 Outstanding Journals project of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology. The Journal of Remote Sensing has significant influence and is included by eight famous databank, i.e. EI, EBSCO, Scopus, AJ, IC, JST, UPD, CSA.

Considering the factors, e.g. the quantity, quality and effectiveness of reviewing articles, twenty reviewers in total are selected as excellent reviewers in 2015 and awarded certificates and prize bonus from editorial committee.
